Andre Blunt Photography

Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 July 2026

These terms cover how you book a session with Andre Blunt Photography, what you get, and how we handle your images and your prints. We have tried to keep them plain. Nothing here takes away the statutory rights you have as a consumer under Hungarian and EU law. If anything is unclear, write to us at photo@andreblunt.com and we will explain before you commit to anything.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Andre Blunt Photography is the photography practice of Andre Blunt Kft(“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in Hungary. These terms apply to photography sessions, commissions, client galleries, and print sales arranged through photo.andreblunt.com or directly with us.

By booking a session or acquiring a print, you agree to these terms. They sit alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data.

These terms are published in English. A Hungarian-language version is available on request, and if you are a consumer in Hungary the mandatory rules of Hungarian consumer law protect you whichever language you read.

2. Enquiries and booking

Everything starts with an enquiry through the form on the site, which reaches us by email. There is no third-party booking platform.

A quote or a held conversation is not a confirmed booking. Dates are reserved on a first-paid basis, so a slot stays open to others until your retainer is in. Because you book online or by email, your booking is a distance contract, and your statutory right to withdraw is explained in section 5.

3. Fees, deposits, and retainers

Starting prices are shown on the Sessions page as indicative figures in euros (for example, from about €500 for the BLVNT Portrait through to €2,500 for BLVNT Commercial). Your exact fee depends on the scope we agree. For clients in Hungary we confirm it in Hungarian forint (HUF), including 27% VAT where it is due, in writing before you book. The figure we confirm is the figure you pay for the agreed package.

4. Cancellation, rescheduling, and no-show

Life happens, and we will always try to be reasonable. These are the defaults, and none of them take away your statutory rights in section 5 or your mandatory consumer rights.

5. Your right to withdraw (distance contracts)

Because you book and buy from us online or by email, without meeting us in person first, these are distance contracts under Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.), which implements the EU Consumer Rights Directive. As a consumer you have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days, with some exceptions that fit the way we work. Here is how it applies.

Model withdrawal form

  • To: Andre Blunt Kft, József körút 69. Fsz. 1. ajtó, 1085 Budapest, Hungary, photo@andreblunt.com
  • I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the following service or goods: [describe]
  • Ordered on / received on: [date]
  • Your name: [ ]
  • Your address: [ ]
  • Date: [ ]

6. The shoot, and what we need from you

A good session is a collaboration. To make it work:

7. Delivery and your client gallery

We deliver your finished images through our own client-gallery platform, not a third-party service.

8. Image rights and licensing

This is the part people care about most, so we keep it clear.

9. Prints (the Print Room)

We also sell signed, limited-edition fine-art prints through the Print Room on the site, and we can make prints of your own session on request.

10. Liability and events beyond our control

We take the work seriously and carry ourselves professionally. Some limits still need saying plainly.

11. Privacy and your data

How we collect and handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy. In short: we keep collection to a minimum, we host our client galleries ourselves on infrastructure in the EU, we do not sell your data, we keep invoice records for the period Hungarian accounting law requires, and you have full rights over your data under the GDPR, including the right to complain to the Hungarian authority (NAIH). Please read that policy together with these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, for example if our services or providers change. The version published on the site at the time you book is the one that applies to that booking. We will post the current version here and update the date. Significant changes will be made clearly visible.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. If we cannot resolve a disagreement between us directly, and you are not a consumer, it will be settled by the competent courts of Budapest, Hungary.

If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you keep the right to bring proceedings as your local law allows. If you are in Hungary, you can contact the Budapest Conciliation Board (Budapesti Békéltető Testület) for out-of-court consumer dispute resolution; as a trader we are required to cooperate with the conciliation board procedure under the Consumer Protection Act (Fgytv). We would always rather you came to us first at photo@andreblunt.com so we can put things right.
